As CEO of Colin Group LLC (NMLS #2350744), she has guided more than 1,000 families to homeownership over her career, and she keeps doing it year after year. Since 2024 alone, she has closed more than 375 loans totaling over $135 million. She treats every client like family and every closing as a dream come true.
Lorena's dedication has earned her some of the industry's highest honors. She has been named to NAHREP's Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators every year from 2021 through 2025, and she ranks among UWM's Top 1% of loan officers nationwide. In 2024, Quontic Bank named her its Showstopper Broker of the Year.

Before she entered lending, Lorena earned a law degree, Summa Cum Laude, from UNIVA in Guadalajara, Mexico. She is also a published author of two books, Tax Justice and Legal Elements of the Contracts. That legal background gives her a rare eye for detail and a talent for making complex paperwork feel simple.
Lorena's heart for community runs just as deep as her expertise. She served as President of the NAHREP Tampa Bay Chapter in 2019. She is an advisor to the Institute of Mexicans Abroad (IME) and National Director of the Mexican American Coalition. She also loves to teach, hosting classes for Realtors and investors in Tampa and West Palm Beach.
